We wouldn’t wish it to anybody, but what if you find yourself in a situation of canceling an amazing Withlocals experience? We’ll tell you this: what a bummer! But we’ve got you covered, read below for a full image of our cancellation policy.
Canceling a confirmed booking
If the booking is canceled by the host you receive travel credits of the full value of your payment.
If you choose to cancel the booking:
- More than 14 days before the originally booked experience date: You will receive travel credits for the full value of your payment.
- Less than 14 days before the originally booked experience date: The host will be fully paid, you won’t receive a refund.
*This takes into account the starting time of the tour.
Booking Requests rejected/withdrawn/expired before confirmation
All bookings on request need to be confirmed by the host within 48 hours. If your booking request is rejected or not confirmed within 48 hours by the host, or when you withdraw the request before it was confirmed, you will not be charged.
Refunds for bookings in areas with a travel warning
When you make a booking in an area or country that has a travel warning at the time of booking which is still active at the moment the booking takes place you will not be eligible for a refund.
