Your agenda is your main tool as a Withlocals host - through your agenda you can control when you are or aren't available for guests to book an experience with you. That's why it's very important to keep it updated at all times - to maximize the time you have available, and avoid being booked at times that aren't suitable for you.
To manage your agenda, Log into your Withlocals profile → go to ‘My Agenda’

Your agenda is automatically OPEN, this means that guests can book you for a tour at any time unless you BLOCK certain days/time slots.
It is important to know that Withlocals Original Tours are automatically confirmed, so guests can book directly if your agenda is OPEN. Please make sure to keep your agenda updated! This will prevent guests from booking a tour with you when you are not available!
We recommend you to have at least 24 hours a week available for tours, to maximize your chances to get booked.
Your agenda will contain three coloured dots:
- Blue: Today you have a tour → Click on the blue dot and see the details.
- Orange: You have blocked one or more time slots on this day, it is not possible to receive bookings for these time slots.
- Red: Your entire day is blocked, it is not possible to receive bookings for this day.
Blocking & Unblocking your agenda
To add a BLOCK in your agenda, click on a date you want to block and click the "Update calendar" button. You can give your appointment a title (optional), and select whether the whole day should be blocked or only a specific time slot (with the sliding button in the right top corner). You can also choose if the event should be repeated (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly).
Click "Save" and your agenda is successfully blocked!
To UNBLOCK your agenda, click on the orange or red block that you want to unblock and click on ‘Remove’. If the event is a repeating event, you can also select if you want all the occurrences of the event to be removed, or just the one you selected.
