You can access the hosting hours form from your profile, agenda settings, or this link: https://www.withlocals.com/host/profile/hosting-hours/
In the hosting hours form, you can select all the days of the week and the starting and ending time for each day that you would like to be available to host experiences. To do so, take into consideration your daily activities, other jobs, and other things that might interfere with you hosting tours during an ordinary week.
It's possible to select only some days of the week to host, the days you do not select will be fully blocked. You can also select custom hours for each day.
After the hosting hours are filled in, save and exit the form. The updated selection will be reflected in your agenda.
Can I change my hosting hours after I set them up?
Yes, you can update you hosting hours whenever you want and as many times as needed. You can do this from your profile agenda settings by clicking on “Edit your hosting hours” or directly from the agenda by clicking over the greyish lines once you've set them up. Once you make the changes and save them, this information will be used from that day onwards.
Why is this information being collected?
This information will help us to easily match you with upcoming opportunities such as bookings, transfers, and partner possibilities according to you agenda, as well as helping you manage your agenda more easily.
What is the difference between my hosting hours and my agenda?
The hosting hours and the agenda work together. This means that the hosting hours are integrated and reflected on the agenda, but it will not replace it. The agenda will still help you see your bookings and manage custom events. But now it will also show you weekly available hours.
What happens if I have events that I can not plan in advance?
Nothing has changed in how the agenda and events used to work. You can still create events to block the agenda. And don’t need to worry if they cross with the hosting hours or not; they can overlap.
Will this information affect my host offers?
While the hosting hours won't change your host offer's structure, it will modify the availability the host offer can be booked. Keep in mind that the hosting hours are connected to the agenda, and the time slots the host offer is available will be directly related to the hosting hours availability.
Will my hosting hours be visible to guests on my public profile?
No, the hosting hours won’t be visible in your public profile, but the availability will be visible when guests make a booking. When a guest selects an experience you are a part of, they will see available time slots according to your hosting hours & agenda.
